Guest Swifty Posted May 11, 2012 #1 Posted May 11, 2012 So, I've been studying what kind of bike might replace the old VR. I've lusted (temporarily) after a classic BMW touring bike, but I got some second thoughts after reading this article....(posted in the Globe and Mail, Canada's national newspaper, about a case in San Francisco). Besides my bike has the same effect...on the female species...which is why I can never take anybody along with me...you know... just to maintain some sense of decorum at our family oriented rallies. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-drive/car-life/road-sage/why-one-uneasy-rider-sued-bmw-for-an-awesome-problem/article2426196/
bags529 Posted May 11, 2012 #4 Posted May 11, 2012 This is the guy that has constant wood from the seat and is attemping to sue BMW..... Guest Swifty Posted May 12, 2012 #11 Posted May 12, 2012 Dave, I say forget the decorum and go for it. LOL, there'd be too much heat, and I don't feel like chasing stray dogs.
Marcarl Posted May 12, 2012 #12 Posted May 12, 2012 Besides my bike has the same effect...on the female species...which is why I can never take anybody along with me...you know... just to maintain some sense of decorum at our family oriented rallies. Hate to tell you my friend, but somebody has to come out with the truth,,,, it's not the seat, nor would it be the rider, so it's got to be the folks she meets at these rallies.
Snaggletooth Posted May 12, 2012 #13 Posted May 12, 2012 I've said it before and I'll say it again..... ATGATT! In this case .......... it's critical!

SilvrT Posted May 12, 2012 #16 Posted May 12, 2012 There's one paragraph in that article that starts off with "That’s the thrust of the matter, isn’t it?" ... I don't know if he intended that pun or not.
