bongobobny Posted January 9, 2008 #1 Posted January 9, 2008 What's up with the new thingies on our headings????
Freebird Posted January 9, 2008 #2 Posted January 9, 2008 See the following thread. Now that I see it though, I don't know if I like it. It's making our headers too big...taking up too much room. I may ... probably will....remove it unless it is really popular with the members. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=22
bongobobny Posted January 9, 2008 Author #3 Posted January 9, 2008 OK thanks, Don, so how do you use it?? I agree it seems to take up a lot of extra space...
hipshot Posted January 9, 2008 #4 Posted January 9, 2008 hey i kinda like it. it is short and to the point. no typing necessary, etc. just jt
Freebird Posted January 9, 2008 #5 Posted January 9, 2008 I see that you figured it out. For anybody else, there is a button at the bottom of every post...beside the "quote" button and etc. If you see a post that is especially helpful for you in any way or that you just truly enjoy, you can simply hit the "Thanks" button to thank the poster for taking the time to help. At the bottom of the thread will be a box that shows the "thanks" that you have received.
Sleeperhawk Posted January 9, 2008 #6 Posted January 9, 2008 The new heading takes up way to much real estate.
hipshot Posted January 9, 2008 #7 Posted January 9, 2008 hey i kinda like it. it is short and to the point. no typing necessary, etc. just jt on second thought, it does take up too much header room, and it becomes "intrusive", if you get a LOT of thank yous! i say do what ever you think needs to be done, don. just jt
BuddyRich Posted January 9, 2008 #8 Posted January 9, 2008 OH BOY can we have fun with this. But, but, but, where's the "Your Welcome" and the Da Nada button. :stirthepot: :rotf: JUST KIDDING
Freebird Posted January 9, 2008 #9 Posted January 9, 2008 I've disable this for now. I am going to try and find a way to move the text and etc. to the other side so that it doesn't make the postbit headers so large. If I can do it, I will enable it again.

And here I thought I was going nuts, couldn't find no extra buttone anywhere, rats, I missed getting my vote in, that's the trouble when you have other things to do.

Yeah, what he said! Thank you Carl, for posting that. Boy I wish there was an easier way to say that without having to do all this gall-durn typing.
