I still have the red 84 venture. It has approximately 160,000 Km's and will probably go another 160 K before any serous problems but my wife and I want to do the east coast this summer including the international rally. I'm gonna crank some people up but I don't want to be sitting in a tent somewhere looking for parts on ebay. Yea, I know it won't but...

 

The 2000 is current and "just in case of problems", I should be able to locate parts a lot easier. I still really like the 84!! Dang it. I'm getting used to the 2000. And... I really like red bikes!

 

I lucked out with the trailer. The colour matches the lower saddle bag paint. I still have to wire it up and register but I'm looking forward to a good trip this summer!
