Bob Myers Posted May 31, 2012 #78 Posted May 31, 2012 I'd be interested. Are they the same diameter as the handlebars? What would the estimated value be? Dave pm sent on this!
Bob Myers Posted May 31, 2012 #79 Posted May 31, 2012 Finally , after shipping several sets I have a picture(or2) of these. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i301/Bob_Myers/DSCN1895.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i301/Bob_Myers/DSCN1894.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i301/Bob_Myers/DSCN1893.jpg
JohnT Posted May 31, 2012 #80 Posted May 31, 2012 Send a PM. Make the payment. Items boxed and ready to ship. All in 24 minutes. Now, to "engineer" mounts for an I Pod and a Tom Tom GPS.
Snaggletooth Posted May 31, 2012 Author #81 Posted May 31, 2012 Very nice Bob. Looks like you got several needs covered in one item. Clamp mounts, RAM mount, easy installation and not to mention looks much better than what I cobbled up. Thanks for producing these for the club. So....... should we call you Stud Bob now? Mike
Flyinfool Posted May 31, 2012 #82 Posted May 31, 2012 After seeing the pics the better half had questions as to what they are used for........
Bob Myers Posted May 31, 2012 #83 Posted May 31, 2012 These aluminum stubs/mounts are likely to be called "Snagglemounts" from here out. If any one is interested there will be several pairs shipping today. One is drilled/tapped 5/16-18 as per Snagglemounts father:rotf:, and the other is plain. If my bolts get here in time there will be a button head screw in place to close off the threads until you want/need them. Very nice Bob. Looks like you got several needs covered in one item. Mike Tina already calls me that, how wonderful it must be to lead such a sheltered life!
JohnT Posted June 7, 2012 #84 Posted June 7, 2012 I have to be honest, I was kind of thinking the price was a bit high. But once I got them, saw them, and the quality of the work,,, they are a bargain. Super nice accessory. And worth EVERY penny. And Bob followed up to make sure I got my Snaggletooths. Good old fashioned customer service. All around great deal.

I wish I could afford to just give them away, but alas I am not wealthy like Snaggle and Dingy so I must charge a modest amount so I can buy cat food to keep my babies fed.

I wish I could afford to just give them away, but alas I am not wealthy like Snaggle and Dingy so I must charge a modest amount so I can buy cat food to keep my babies fed. What? Me? Remember me? I'm the guy with the bench grinder and the files. Wealthy? Ya crack me up! And it's just a coinsidence that my daughter developed a taste for Meow Mix when she was little, much to the cats dismay. Now that Dingy guy ......... But sounds like a great plug for the way the Studs turned out from Bob. His addition of the Ram mount threads was an added plus and the bullet ends are a nice touch. So another shameless plug for the Studs...... PM Bob if you're intertested in owning a set for your bike. Bob's kitties are hungry. And for those that got a set, post a few pics guys! Mike
dingy Posted June 8, 2012 #87 Posted June 8, 2012 Anybody already have a set of these they aren't going to put on for a week or two?? Bob said he couldn't ship me a set till next Wednesday. I am leaving for the Thunder in the Valley rally Thursday in PA. and it would be nice to have a set. I will get you a set shipped to you & pay for postage to ship to me !! Gary
Trader Posted June 8, 2012 #88 Posted June 8, 2012 If mine aren't already in the mail Bob has my go ahead to send them to you instead...I'll get a set later!
Bob Myers Posted June 25, 2012 #90 Posted June 25, 2012 I knew this day would come, I sent out a set of stud mounts and received a message asking why one was different. In the original discussion on these the consensus was to drill/tap one for RAM mount. With that said, in future orders if you want one or both drilled/tapped on the end then you must advise or you will receive a set that has not been drilled/tapped. For the one person who sent a PM concerning this, your pm box is full, you cannot receive any messages.
Bob Myers Posted July 11, 2012 #91 Posted July 11, 2012 While we were waiting for steel to arrive yesterday we ran off a few more sets of the snagglestuds,,,,, get'em while they're hot!
Bob Myers Posted July 26, 2012 #92 Posted July 26, 2012 No one wants these now? Several sets ready to ship!!
