Not a cruiser peg rider. Took my bar pegs off my v twin & sold on ebay.

about the risers & bar - I returned the HD bar I got from custom cruisers which was similar to the Honda/HD but did not fit RSV between faiting & tank.

Also 'risers' only push bars towards rider on RSV unless you turn the bar up which then moves hands out of the wind tunnel of fairing which is one of main reasons to "upgrade" because of wind protection.

Might still cut off heel part of shifter. I like to hang my toes on the back part of floor board.

I just love the boards over pegs because I can position my feet around which allows me to change my body position somewhat. Sometimes I even put my feet on passenger pegs. I was weaned on European & Jap bikes back in 60's and still like that style of riding. When got first cruiser style ride - Kawasaki Vulcan - 3 years ago, it showed me the this style of ride was OK. My next cruiser - the Honda Sabre with Mustang seat & boards - added to the comfort. Now it is the RSV which I will get used to very quickly this weekend. I plan on putting some miles on her to test her for my 3 day ride next weekend to see my son in panhandle - about 5 hour ride. He is anxious to check her out too.
