MikeWa Posted May 2, 2012 #1 Posted May 2, 2012 I am installing a Barnett clutch pack #306-90-20082 and SR-2 kit in my 08 venture. With the spring plate torqued in place and the cover ready to go on. I still have considerable play in the clutch pack. It feels like I am missing one or more discs. Is play normal here or should torquing the spring plate have tightened everything up? Thanks for any guidance. Mike
Pictou Posted May 2, 2012 #2 Posted May 2, 2012 Did you rotate the pressure plate around a bit as there is only one place it will go all the way intight against the clutch pack ?

MikeWa Posted May 2, 2012 Author #4 Posted May 2, 2012 Thanks guys. That answers my question pretty dog gone well. I will go back now and do it right. Thanks Mike
MikeWa Posted May 2, 2012 Author #5 Posted May 2, 2012 Ok I went out and rotated the SR-2 spring plate as suggested. And now everything is working as it should. So does this mean I don't get a refund on my $12.00 ? I love it. The people on this site are great. Mike If ya can't do it right the first time, just do it again.
