FuzzyRSTD Posted May 11, 2012 #26 Posted May 11, 2012 Check with Carbon One, I am sure he can help you out. I think he makes adapters for the jacks as well. I have read that people use 2X4s to put under their bikes to allow the jack to lift the frame of the bike. My bike jack has an adapter that works for many type bikes. It has rotating arms and V shape fingers for the frame to sit in. I found it for around 100 bucks or maybe 150, plus about 20 dollars shipping. It is black and chrome. My bike has been sitting on it now for two weeks. It has safety locks that go into place as you jack up the bike. It also has wheel locks and came with two straps and places on the jack for the straps to attach. Fuzzy
PGunn Posted May 11, 2012 Author #27 Posted May 11, 2012 2ndGen people are more informative... I bought the jack and the lift adapter from Carbon One and it works just like it should. One thing you guys might try is sliding a 2 x 2 under the frame of the bike this would give you the needed clearance or even 4 hockey pucks I have heard will work.
