casiper Posted April 26, 2012 #1 Posted April 26, 2012 the front right brake line that links to the fork (see Photo). Does anyone know where to get one? It's for a Venture Royale 1983... Thank you for the help.
KIC Posted April 26, 2012 #2 Posted April 26, 2012 I might be able to get you one. But won't be back in town until next Friday to look into it.
Snaggletooth Posted April 26, 2012 #3 Posted April 26, 2012 If you just need the line from the caliper to the anti-dive unt I MIGHT still have my old set around. I may have tossed them but I'll take a look if you need it. If needed you can swap out the long union bolt on the caliper for the short union on the anti-dive and cap off the the anti-dive port to eliminate the lines and the AD all together. Mike
reddevilmedic Posted April 26, 2012 #4 Posted April 26, 2012 i will have a couple late next week, after i do Progressive and Stainless lines. it eliminates both of those lines and anti-dive valves.
casiper Posted April 26, 2012 Author #6 Posted April 26, 2012 I will in the future do an upgrade to the fork system, but in the mean time I will replace that hose. If one of you would like to give me a good price I would appreciate it. I can be reach at CASIPER@GMAIL.COM Thank you all.
greg_in_london Posted April 29, 2012 #7 Posted April 29, 2012 Anywhere that makes stainless steel brake lines will make you one - or did you particularly want the old-style black rubber look ?
PBJ Posted April 29, 2012 #8 Posted April 29, 2012 I have one as well from my 85 but i might suggest that maybe you take Greg's advice. then you"ll have a fresh new rubber hose or steel. If theres a truck supply store near you they may be able to make up for you.
