dingy Posted April 18, 2012 #3 Posted April 18, 2012 It's a 2nd gen, nobody is going to see the trunk on it anyways. Can't see that in the rear view mirror. http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/af193/gdingy101/deadhorse-1.gif Gary
rickardracing Posted April 18, 2012 #4 Posted April 18, 2012 Joe, depending on when you need it, I could do it. I painted my trailer and Don's last year. They came out pretty sweet. I can send you pics later. Randy
rickardracing Posted April 18, 2012 #5 Posted April 18, 2012 (edited) Here are some pics. The saddle bag I painted for my wifes bike. The other pics are of my trailer ( blue and black) like your bike and the black one is Don's that I painted at the same time. I used PPG's Shopline paint. You will need a pint of the Blue, pint of black, quart of clear, hardener (one can should do that), a gallon of reducer. Pinstripe is a bit of an issue. I used 3M's Ultimate Charcoal, but it is alot brighter than the bike. Regular Charcoal is probably more like the right shade. It's not that noticable on the trailer 3 feet behind the bike, but it would be noticable on the bike. You could not use tape and have JBird mix something up at Maintainance day though. I still have the paint codes for the paint. Shopline is good stuff and ALOT cheaper than House Of Colors. Just let me know. Randy Edited April 18, 2012 by rickardracing
