Bvinson Posted April 15, 2012 #1 Posted April 15, 2012 Some shots from the race. It was tough shooting under the lights. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS5.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS8.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS4.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS2.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS7.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS3.jpg
Yama Mama Posted April 15, 2012 #2 Posted April 15, 2012 Bill, those are really great photos as usual. Thanks for thinking of sharing them with us. Also nice to hear from you again. I especially love the little boy with the headset on. I know the men will especially enjoy the beautiful young lady. Yama Mama:smile5:
playboy Posted April 15, 2012 #3 Posted April 15, 2012 Nice shots looks like you had some good seats. Just checked your google earth and we rode right past you last weekend going to my folks place we did see a guy on a tour deluxe somewhere through there but traffic was to bad to catch up to him.
Patrolman46 Posted April 15, 2012 #4 Posted April 15, 2012 Thanks for posting the photos of the race & grandstands. GREAT PHOTOS..!!!! I listened to the race as we don't get FOX here. Really good race & it sounded like the wind was really bad. Could have been worse. The severe storms were pretty close.
mhaigwood Posted April 16, 2012 #6 Posted April 16, 2012 What happened to Dale Jr. Thought about riding up, decided not because weather. Hope you had a nice trip. Mark
Bvinson Posted April 16, 2012 Author #7 Posted April 16, 2012 What happened to Dale Jr. Mark It was like JR. had the wrong gearing. He had a pretty good long run car. However, when they would pit and come out as a group he would lose 20-30 car lengths before they got to turn 2. He would finally catch them again and pass a couple then it was time for green flag stops and he would start the process again. He more than likley passed more cars during the race than anyone else. Here are a few more pics http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS13.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS16.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS14.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/TMS15.jpg
Condor Posted April 16, 2012 #8 Posted April 16, 2012 Some photographers just have that special gift that others dream about..... Very Nice!!
mhaigwood Posted April 17, 2012 #9 Posted April 17, 2012 One of my best friends son is rear tire changer for Jr. ( Joe Singlinger), talked to Jack today said Jr. was set up for long runs. He was also wearing out the right rear tire, half way through a run. Nice pictures!!!!!!!!!!!! Mark
Brenda H Posted April 18, 2012 #10 Posted April 18, 2012 Question about the lil guy in the last pic. Was he listening to the race or did his folks have him in the smallest hearing protection headset I've ever seen??
Bvinson Posted April 18, 2012 Author #11 Posted April 18, 2012 Question about the lil guy in the last pic. Was he listening to the race or did his folks have him in the smallest hearing protection headset I've ever seen?? Those are the smallest earmuffs made. That little guy was always smiling. Must have been a Greg Biffle fan . He will know better when he grows up....
WESTDYKE Posted April 19, 2012 #12 Posted April 19, 2012 My Son and I were there Fri. and Sat. good race both night but the wind was bad.http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-snc4/370501_100000561181026_441207075_q.jpg
Bvinson Posted April 20, 2012 Author #13 Posted April 20, 2012 The wind was really blowing. I just thought it was bad inside the track. On the way back to my truck the dirt getting blown up in the parking lot would about choke you.
