Cooler rack

Last fall I posted a want ad for some old used floorboards so between here and the star touring forum I got a pair of them. My first brackets did not turn out like I wanted but this one will do until I get the other one done.

Nice ... neat solution.

 

You might want to consider replacing the bungees with something a bit more secure.

 

Webbing straps, with or without a ratchet would be my choice.

Too funny.

If I had seen the rig in a parking lot without a cooler on it,,,

I would have to wait for the owner to see what he had in mind!

 

It would also work for your buddy who is too proud to ride on the rear seat.

Just put a short ski rope to hold on to.

He should wear a helmet,,

and say "Watch this!".

Not sure what I am going to use to hold it down with, most likely a rachet strap would be the best way. The cooler didn't go anywhere with a small ride around the block but that isn't a full days ride.
