cw1263 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Has anyone looked at a Goldwing shock as a possilbe fit? Seen a pic of one they LOOK alot alike.
RSTDdog Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I've been thinking about trying this. You see take offs from trikes quite a bit. I found some pictures, on Pinwall site I think that had a tape measure in the photo. Looks like the Gold wing shock may be about an inch or so longer , hole to hole. The lower clevis is also a lot longer on the Goldwing shock, so you could drill a new hole and get the hole to hole length closer. Have some other things pending, so I haven't spent any more time on it. You can get the take offs for around 100.00. Would be nice if it works with the hydraulic preload adjuster. Not sure what you need for that to work other than 12 volts. RSTDddog
