Yama Mama Posted January 6, 2008 #2 Posted January 6, 2008 Hey Jeff, I was rooting for the Jaguars too. It was a really good game. I hope they continue on in the playoffs. Peggy:big-grin-emoticon:
Sleeperhawk Posted January 6, 2008 #3 Posted January 6, 2008 Why should the Jaguars keep on rolling? Their cars I have always liked.
Yama Mama Posted January 6, 2008 #4 Posted January 6, 2008 Very good George.......... We are talking football silly. Peggy
Paul Posted January 6, 2008 #5 Posted January 6, 2008 The turnovers and sacks killed the Steelers, but if you look at the stats for the game the jags were totally outplayed. All in all it was a great game and now the steelers have all off season to fix their offensive line which has been terrible the second half of the season. You have to go into the post season healthy and thats one thing the steelers couldnt do this season starting second and third string guys. But I am just a pissed of Steelers fan this morning (but they beat themselves just like most of their losses this season). I would like to see the Jags keep it up but there is no way they beat the colts next week playing the game that they played last night. 150 yards passing and 50 yards on the ground will not beat the Colts (havent seen the exact numbers this morning but I am close) They will need to step it up quite a bit and I just dont think they have it in them to beat the colts in Indy. GO COLTS!!!!!

GO COLTS!!!!! I agree with you, except that the Jags will play the Colts only if the Titans beat the chargers. If Titans loose to the Chargers then the Jags go to Foxboro to play the Pats http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/NE/NE_logo-80x90.gif
Riderduke Posted January 6, 2008 #7 Posted January 6, 2008 GO JAGUARS!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on your win. Let see what happens today and next week though http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/NE/NE_logo-80x90.gif
1BigDog Posted January 6, 2008 Author #8 Posted January 6, 2008 What you guys fail to realize that although the numbers werent spectacular, this is two very good teams and playoff games usually end very close or are a complete blowout. What I see is a Jaguar team that after a few years of carosel quarterbacks, have finally settled on Garrard who, by the way is the the third ranked QB in the NFL right now. And we also have two of the best running backs in Fred Taylor and Maurice Drew. The offensive line is fimally jelling. And I believe that the Jags ran all over the Colts last year, so even elite teams screw up from time to time. Its time to give the Jags some well deserved respect. Win or lose, we are proud of our team.
Sawhorse Posted January 7, 2008 #9 Posted January 7, 2008 Ruffrider, I was in Jacksonville this fall when the Jaguars whipped up on the Houston Texans, that was a great game. I got to see it from about the 50 yard line. Good team, I'd like to see them play the Cowboys! But can they run through the Patriots. http://www.patriots.com/images/teamlogos/NewEnglandPatriots.gif I guess we will see on Saturday night
