TDunc Posted April 2, 2012 #1 Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) I have a supplier close to me that has three cyclemate trailers that appear to be new. He says he is getting out of the business and has them listed at about 400.00 off list. IF anyone is interested, let me know and I will go take pictures etc. I am not sure when they stopped being made or if they have stopped. I can not find anything but 09 info on most websites. If anyone has some more info on the trailer please post it here. I was looking for a trailer but I think he still wants too much for them. Especially if they are several years old. He has a white and a black cm2000 and then one of the more trimlined units. Not sure of that number. OK here are two pics I took of one of them. BuckShot Posted April 2, 2012 #2 Posted April 2, 2012 Timeout ( Timeouttrailers.org) bought cyclemate years ago. Tried pulling them up, but website is not working. Don't know if they went out of business this winter or just redoing their website. They sold Timeout Campers and several cargo trailers.
etcswjoe Posted April 3, 2012 #5 Posted April 3, 2012 Little Pricey for me, do you know how well they pull?
Flyinfool Posted April 3, 2012 #6 Posted April 3, 2012 Is there a manufacture date on the nameplate or the title? That will give you the best idea of just how old they are. I am sure the dealer knows what the model year is, it would have to go on the paperwork for the title. If they are that old, check the date codes on the tires. They may already need new skins. Make him a low ball offer, see just how bad he wants to move them. According to this website http://www.cycle-mate.com/trailers/ the list price on a CM2000 is $1595.00. looks like its the old mark it way up and then give a sale price that is still more than MSRP. Unless of course it has a LOT of accessories that are not visible in the pic.
TDunc Posted April 3, 2012 Author #7 Posted April 3, 2012 Nope, don't know how well they pull. I posted the info as an after thought that someone here may be interested. I did not even talk to the guy about them except to hear him say he is selling out of all his motorcycle stuff and putting in a indoor flea market in that building. He actually is the local moble home supply house and he has a buidling that he sold all kinds of motorcyle stuff through. I stopped in the other day just to look around. He still has stuff like some jackets, luggage, vest, some filters, batteries and oil. Not a true motorcycle dealer. Here is the main website to call if you are interested. http://www.allensmobilehomeandrvsupplies.com/ Here is his facebook. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Allens-Mobile-Home-RV-Supplies/104035492996981
