HGWT Posted March 31, 2012 #1 Posted March 31, 2012 Is anyone using a popup camper pulled brhinf thrir 2nd gen RSV. If so what kind?
sarges46 Posted March 31, 2012 #2 Posted March 31, 2012 We currently have a 2011 Rolla-Home and like it very much. Previously owned a older "bunkhouse" and liked that as well. Both tow great...are a bit heavy to stop but great to camp with.
Monty Posted March 31, 2012 #3 Posted March 31, 2012 Aspen Classic here. Never had any trouble pulling it. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/Image8.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/Image2-1.jpg
steamer Posted March 31, 2012 #4 Posted March 31, 2012 We pick up a Easycamper basic model. Found it locally used, for $1500.00. have not pulled it yet. Plan on using it this season.
greg_in_london Posted March 31, 2012 #5 Posted March 31, 2012 Trailer tent behind a mark I and sidecar. We've two, a Raclet Minto (unbraked) and Texas Comanche (braked). The trouble could be the amount of extra luggage we can get in... I'd worry about stopping with such a big trailer (which wouldn't be legal here anyway) behind a solo, and cautious of brakes that are only used occasionally (in case one bites first, twisting slightly). That Aspen looks pretty nifty though.
SilvrT Posted March 31, 2012 #7 Posted March 31, 2012 We picked up a 2007 Leesur-Lite from a guy in Spokane last summer for 3 bills. Has all the options except A/C. Screened awning; add-a-room; extra storage; wide tires, etc. We like it a lot. Very easy to set up. The RSV tows it ok but for me, I found it took a lot of "work" haulin it thru the mountains fully loaded.
