J.T. please pass on our prayers for comfort from Utah. My Son and his wife Mari were burned-out of their place this past fall. They were still kind of newlyweds so they didn't loose much stuff, but then they didn't have any insurance either. Add us to the list of people who would be there to help if it were possible. Remind them to have faith, it'll all work out.

Every day we ask our Creator to look after our VR family, and to touch those who have not yet had the experience of His presence. A special prayer goes out for you folks.

Hey jt.

My thoughts are with you and yours, as they are with everyone who is battling their personal losses and tragedies. Be assured, when you are all in darkness on that side of the world and I am in sunshine Down Under, I break off a little piece and keep it just for you.

Best wishes, love and light from the Great Southern Land.

PRAYERS sent from OHIO. And you are correct, you don't need to actually have met a VENTURERIDER tto get help. I am a recepient of ALL the love and help from these great guys and gals and offer my help and love to your brother, Ron and his family. Just ask and VENTURERIDERS respond.

Prayers are being sent to all from Old Hippy and myself. If there is anything I have learned is that this is the best family a guy could have. Hang in there and we'll keep on praying.

No secrets, but I've been busy- spent 7 & 1/2 days of vacation and most weekends last month, playing lumberjack, cleaning up ice storm debris at my house and Mom's. I still have a lot of trees to prune, but most of my immediate needs are addressed. I'm hoping this wind will bring down some of the hanging limbs; my ladder only reaches 25' & some of them are way beyond that. And I just got finished cleaning up from the January ice storm a couple of months ago. Dammit.

Some things you deal with immediately, others have to wait. Mary's family is still mourning; haven't had the chance to talk with her yet, but a lot of her friends in the office have pitched in. Her trials make mine seem like busy work.

Home's where your family is. Keep yours close, and safe. Accept a helping hand when it's offered; I'm sure there's plenty to be done. Sorry I can't be there to help.

First I'm very sorry for your friends family. It's awful to lose a child.

As for the tree limbs you can't get to. I waited 4 yrs for all the limbs just hanging there in the trees to come down. Ours was a hurricane but it's basically the same thing when waiting for them limbs. Funniest thing was I actually had other limbs just break for no reason and come down. Guess they were damaged where I couldn't see. So be careful out there, don't need you gettin hit on the head.

What a tragedy. Including all in our prayers, including Squidley and Lonna. If there is something we could help with let us know. Has a fund been set up? Sometimes whenn all is lost a fund is setup with a local bank. If there is I would be happy to contribute since I won't be able to go down and help with the carpentry work.

We have lots of prayers to send...a lot have been coming our way. You all are in our thoughts, just ask if there is anything we can do.

Out thoughts and prayers go out for both the families noted here. I still wish I was closer to most of you so I could lend a physical hand somehow....but for now its not going to be.

All I can do is be supportive and send something if the need arises.
