Redux of fairing project

Ditched chopped up HD fairing and ordered a RS fairing from http://www.recklessmotorcycles.com. It fit perfectly with a homemade mount. Its going to get redone too but it works for now.

Which model fairing from Reckless did you order? I don't see one for the RSTD specifically.

I had a recless on my Kawasaki I had to make mounts. I bought one for a road king I think it was. I used partly my mounts for the memphis shades windshield and modified the mounts that came with the fairing. Over all I thought the faring was built pretty dang good.

I bought one for the road star. I made a home made bracket that when i fine tune it ill gladly offer it to VR MEMBERS.

Radio is wired up and ready to go. Ill trace a bracket with dimensions and post it up when I have a chance.

Ok, I have the finalized mounts to mount a reckless motorcycle fairing if anybody is interested.

It bolts directly to the plates that come with the fairing and my bracket mounts directly to the bike in place of the stock windshield hangers.

what did this cost you i like and am intrested just have to work the finances

The fairing was 400 shipped. The stereo set up was about 150. I still have to get it painted but it is black when you get it.

Brackets for reckless motorcycle fairing for Yamaha RoadStar to fit RSTD. One hole left to drill but here they are. Not machine shop worthy yet but they are functional.
