kwisor Posted March 24, 2012 #1 Posted March 24, 2012 hello all on my 1999 rsv the rear brake caliper has frozen and i can not get the plungers to move anyone that has one from a trike conversion have one thay would let go cheap i have been out of work for 6 months and dont have a lot of money. just started new job this week and bike only transportion i have. thanks for any help bumble bee kevin wisor lexington sc
RSTDdog Posted March 24, 2012 #2 Posted March 24, 2012 Pinwall Cycles on ebay has quite a few of them. Not alot of money as I recall, maybe $50.00. If your caliper is frozen, Your rear brake master cylinder is probably gunked up too. When is the last time you changed/checked the brake fluid?? Might be jelly in there. With the caliper off, if you apply the rear brake can you get them to move?? RSTDdog
