Flyinfool Posted March 24, 2012 #1 Posted March 24, 2012 Well I done it now. I did everything I can think of to make the winter SNOW come back. I took the bike out of storage. I put all of the snow shovels away for the season. I packed all of the salt away for the season. I took the snow brush out of my truck I took the winter emergency kit out of the truck and put the summer kit back in. I took all of the storm windows off the house and put up the screens. Got the lawn mower ready to go got the weed wacker ready to go packed away all of my winter coats and boots and brought out the summer gear shaved off my winter beard changed over all of my RC stuff from winter to summer I don't know what more I can do...........
Marcarl Posted March 24, 2012 #4 Posted March 24, 2012 It's the beard,,, should have left it on, now you scared it away.
steamer Posted March 24, 2012 #5 Posted March 24, 2012 OH NO, not me. I have the snow blower ready to go. That should keep that white stuff away. Don't like snow,NO NO NO.
Scooter Bob Posted March 24, 2012 #6 Posted March 24, 2012 Yah Jeff, I scheduled my winter getaway for the end of March again, and had a hard time deciding to actually leave and head South this year. But I'll do my part to help you out. I'm gonna leave Wednesday morning for TX, and I'm not even going to take my SNOWMOBILE SUIT with me this year. It's the best I can do to help you out for now. Later, Scooter Bob
Scooter Bob Posted March 24, 2012 #7 Posted March 24, 2012 OH NO, not me. I have the snow blower ready to go. That should keep that white stuff away. Don't like snow,NO NO NO. Oh ya, last night as I'm figurin' out what all bike work needs to be done before I go to the SE TX MD, it dawns on me that I need to get the snowblower off the tractor and the mower put on so the lawn can be be mowed before I get back, or before I leave. This don't happen in WI in March too often.
Yammer Dan Posted March 24, 2012 #8 Posted March 24, 2012 I already mowed grass. And got 14 yrds of fresh concrete down. Don't need No Cold stuff!!!
Flyinfool Posted March 24, 2012 Author #10 Posted March 24, 2012 Looks like all I managed to do was to make it yucky out. 45*, light rain, dense fog, Do they make brandy flavored soap???
OrlinEngh Posted March 24, 2012 #11 Posted March 24, 2012 On Monday I took off the plow, wing and sander off of the truck and wing off of the grader that should have made it snow.
Scooter Bob Posted March 26, 2012 #12 Posted March 26, 2012 I think I found the trick Jeff. I actually mowed the lawn yesterday, and I wake up to 32 degrees this morning. Time to head south.
Flyinfool Posted March 26, 2012 Author #13 Posted March 26, 2012 I thought I had it close when I woke to 33° this morning and todays high will be the first time this month that the his will be below average. Even though I am in danger of loosing the dog in the grass, I absolutely REFUSE to, will not even contemplate, or entertain the thought of thinking about thinking of getting the lawn mower out in March in Wisconsin, I dont care if the grass gets 6 feet high, nope nope nope it aint gonna happen.
OrlinEngh Posted March 26, 2012 #14 Posted March 26, 2012 I got the mower out yesterday and got it ready to go, had to take it out and give it a try it worked so I finshed cleaning it up and put it back. Still no snow.
