Owen Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 http://www.automobilemag.com/features/news/1203_ducati_future_in_four_rings/index.html Ducati makes some excellent bikes. The Monster 696 is one for sure. Having 8-9 percent of the market means they are not a 'bit' player. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.
RandyR Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) In the article was a statement that the German Horex motorcycles were being resurrected with a new V-6 supercharged 200hp motor. http://www.motorcycle.com/gallery/gallery.php/d/242132-3/061510-horex-05.jpg? http://www.motorcycle.com/news/horex-brand-resurrected-in-germany-89656.html Its a 15degree v6 engine with 3 cams. Very unusual design. http://www.motorcycle.com/gallery/gallery.php/d/242156-2/061510-horex-02.jpg Edited March 19, 2012 by RandyR
Venturous Randy Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 That's interesting, my first bike was a 125 Ducati Bronco. I beat the crap out of that bike. RandyA
Condor Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Looks like nothing more than an inline triple with 6 staggered cylinders. Never have cared for triples.... I'd rather see a V6 Venture based on the new V-Max V4.

At the rate Yamaha is going, we will be very lucky if we even see a new Venture based on the current V-Max V4, much less engineering in two extra cylinders.
