The only aluminum on my 2006 RSTD is the brake/clutch levers and resevoirs. Can you buy chrome replacements for these? Where?

Yes, for the brake/clutch levers. Cruiser Customizing has them by Show Chrome (Big Bike Parts). I changed to these long ago because of the aluminum oxidizing & discoloring my gloves. I don't know about the reservoirs. I do have chrome lids on the reservoirs: left side has "Royal Star" engraved on it, right side has "Venture" engraved on it. Got them on ebay. I don't know if they are still available or not.

Resevoir covers are still available in a host of styles. Lot's of chrome. May have to settle for levers and lids.... I'll look on CruiserCustomizer and check.

I have been working on cleaning up my 96 RSTC by polishing some parts. I have done a few small parts and the lower struts. I had them to a chrome like finish (not perfect), and I decided to go with a brushed finish to match the upper shock covers. My next project will be the master cylinders and upper tripple tree, as these are looking pretty sad. My point is that I have had great luck polishing these parts and coating them with automotive clear coat to preserve the finish. It take a lot of elbow grease and patience, but the result is fantastic.

Oh yeah just ask Ruffy about that elbow grease, he just did his front forks on his 99 Venture, from the hotos they look great.
