a trunk rack that fits an 86-93 1stGen. The rack that the trunk and passenger rails mount to. Anyone have one laying around in halfway decent condition. I see them show up on Ebay all the time....until you need one..... For all you members up north I appreciate the thought, but shipping will cost a ton... Thanks for looking. Jack

Yep, saw one that was a top luggage rack. I'm looking for the rack the 86-93 trunk sits on. Unless..... I missed it??

Actually $51 bucks is a dandy price to pay for one of the luggage racks. During the riding season they usually pull $100+ Just not the one I need....

Thanks Reiny. Between you, and Black Owl maybe one of you will have a clean one in the closet. I thought I had one, but apparently it got legs and walked off???

Jack, I found it.....it's in pretty good shape other then one of the brackets that sticks out the side is snapped off and would need rebuilding. It's a smaller round bracket that has a whole on the centre..antenna??? The same bracket on the other side is O.K., although it doesn't look original. I'm not on my own computer, it's in the shop so I can't send you the pics I have....hopefully by tomorrow or Monday. If it's what you need, it's yours for the cost of shipping. I'l send the pics as soon a I can. I'm not offended if it's not exactly what you were hoping for and wanna pass on it.

Just wanted to thank every one who took the time to search their stash, but I decided to bite the bullet and get the one I have welded up. This one didn't have any rust and had the helmet lock plates. Got it back yesterday afternoon. Looks pretty good. I saw that '92 rack listed on Ebay this morning, but when I enlarged the pic it looked pretty bad. So just as well I went the direction I did. I want to get this bike put back together in time for this summer, and I'm a fanatic about replacing parts that are broken, and anything 'rusty or dusty'.... Many Thanks:thumbsup2:
