oldschool Posted March 15, 2012 #3 Posted March 15, 2012 He stole my last name! Ray "Oldschool" Cosby!
wes0778 Posted March 15, 2012 #4 Posted March 15, 2012 SOOOOOOO much better than the garbage on TV now!!!
friesman Posted March 15, 2012 #5 Posted March 15, 2012 Sorry guys, dont disown me, but I hated how sickly sweet the Cosby show was all the time. I liked stuff kinda halfway between Roseanne and Tim the Toolman. And once in a while a little bit of Fawlty Towers thrown in. octoberboy Posted March 15, 2012 #6 Posted March 15, 2012 I remember seeing him for the first time on the Tonight Show. Think it was the mid 60's. For some reason our parents let us stay up late. He was certainly the funniest clean comedian for a long time. We bought every one of his 33 1/3 vinyl's when they came out. I think I just dated myself?
Trader Posted March 15, 2012 #7 Posted March 15, 2012 i think my all time favorite skit was Noah Voompa, voompa voompa (that was the hand saw) (Deep voice:) NOAH who Dat? This is the Lord! Riiiiiight....am I on candid camera? I want you to build an Arc! Riiiight....what's an arc? etc etc

Mr.G Posted March 16, 2012 #10 Posted March 16, 2012 i think my all time favorite skit was Noah Voompa, voompa voompa (that was the hand saw) (Deep voice:) NOAH who Dat? This is the Lord! Riiiiiight....am I on candid camera? I want you to build an Arc! Riiiight....what's an arc? etc etc Man, that was good stuff. I had three of his albums.
Trader Posted March 16, 2012 #11 Posted March 16, 2012 i think some of the all time greatest was Carol Burrnett along with Tim Conway and Harvey Corman (sp?) It was live TV and they would intentionally try to mess each other up....watching them try to control themselves and get thru a skit was absolutely hallarious!
deepforkriver Posted March 16, 2012 Author #12 Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) You mean tim conway like this: (click on link if you have to) http://youtu.be/SEGuVb-mtf0 Edited March 16, 2012 by deepforkriver trying to get link to show up.......maybe it will work, I give up.....
