stardbog Posted January 3, 2008 #1 Posted January 3, 2008 Not That one but " Parked Motorcycle Syndrome " or "Post Motorcycling Syndrome" didn't ride for week and already feel a craving..damn Today went to local Battery Shop and bought new Battery for Venture. installed and start bike, fired up right away. Let her warm up and enjoying V4 pouring. Rev a throttle couple times. Fill much better, and my PMS is gone
Guest KitCarson Posted January 3, 2008 #2 Posted January 3, 2008 I do not and would not deal with Parked Motorcycle Syndrome very well. It is getting cold in South Carolina for about 4 days......supposed to be like 16 degrees tonight...high of 43 tomorrow........maybe 10 degrees the next night.....just two or three days ruins my sense of humor. I like to ride a bike every week.....it is my hobby.......the reason I stayed south when I got the chance. No do not like PMS at all!!!! Riding a bike is kinda like eating.....it is a requirement. For us southern'erns it is even too cold in the garage to shine up the bike......but just the next week......will be 70 degrees!!!
Tour Deluxe Posted January 3, 2008 #3 Posted January 3, 2008 Not very well, I put about 18K a year on. I hate winter !!!.
86er Posted January 3, 2008 #4 Posted January 3, 2008 Whether "Parked or Post", I DON'T DO PMS, DAN!!!

mraf Posted January 3, 2008 #8 Posted January 3, 2008 Winter sucks! Its a cold, snowy, wet, damp and black and white world here. Even if it stops long enough to melt, the wind picks up hard enough anymore to blow you off the highway. New York has a Bare Road policy when it comes to its state highways anymore. They will plow and spread pure salt night and day until the snow stops or the roads are clean. This leaves the blacktop highways white with salt residue which takes a few days for all our vehicles to pick up and rust to pieces. Ahh the joys of living in Western NY. Needless to say my PMS tolerance is taxed pretty high. Don't get me wrong though in the summer time this one of the best places to live in the country. Temperatures in the 70s to low 80s daily and weather and land that will grow just about anything. BUT WINTER SUCKS!
BEER30 Posted January 3, 2008 #9 Posted January 3, 2008 Geez...... it was a nice toastie 24 degrees , sunshine , not a cloud in the sky to be seen , 15-20 mph crosswinds , peaceful and pleasent commute to work this mourning as I passed by SaltyDawg all bundled up on his scoot ! Now what's ya'lls problem ? :rotf: BEER30
