beyeker Posted January 3, 2008 #1 Posted January 3, 2008 I'm looking for chrome front disc brake covers for my 2007 RSV just like the ones on the bike, but chromed instead of polished. I know Yamaha made some back in the old Royal Star days. I haven't ran accross any yet. I could have the ones on the bike removed and chrome, but I don't want the hassle. Any help?
Redneck Posted January 3, 2008 #2 Posted January 3, 2008 I don't believe the animal you are hunting exists I have never seen any. I believe Eddie sent his off and had them chromed. They will polish to look like chrome if you have a high speed buffer or lots of elbow grease.
BEER30 Posted January 3, 2008 #3 Posted January 3, 2008 Are these what your looking for? http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/products/modelscitemdetail/5/4/83/404/2008/all/36/0/0/detail.aspx BEER30
Tour Deluxe Posted January 3, 2008 #4 Posted January 3, 2008 There are none made for the Venture or Tour Deluxe models. They did make them for the 96 - 01 royal stars, I don't believe they are available any longer. A friend of mine modified a set to fit his 00 Venture.

beyeker Posted January 3, 2008 Author #6 Posted January 3, 2008 You are correct Tour Deluxe, the cover over the disc is already on the Ventures, it's polished, but not chrome. Some Yamaha Dealer in the boonies may still have an old set. I think I'll have to remove them and have them chromed. How about headsets, I figure you are better of buying from J & M instead of Yamaha, but which one?
Tom Posted January 3, 2008 #7 Posted January 3, 2008 The only thing I could find for mine are these and I like em..they are metal, not plastic http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/pages/catalogs/detail/17/97/216/14954/2/0/0/1/4/90/69/337/caliper-covers-for-yamaha.aspx http://images.motorsportdealers.com/common/MediaLibrary/CatalogImages/503/250/2598024bfb.jpg
