DragonRider Posted March 3, 2012 #1 Posted March 3, 2012 Weather Channel says yesterday and last nights storms are the worst outbreak of tornado's for the month of March, and its only 3 days in. Hope everyone made it through ok. We only had one here in Ga, but it was on the ground for a long time. Indiana and Kentucky took hard hits, praying for those hit hard and hoping for no loss of life. This has been a freaky winter, I don't ever remember weather like this.
GAWildKat Posted March 3, 2012 #3 Posted March 3, 2012 We're safe here in Warner Robins GA. Got some hail earlier, about 8:30. Kirby over in Mcrae is about to see the stuff we got. Stay safe Kirby!
Venturous Posted March 3, 2012 #5 Posted March 3, 2012 Only lost one hickory tree. But we needed to replenish the smoker wood pile anyway, so its all good. Certainly were a lot of warnings though.
Jethroish Posted March 9, 2012 #6 Posted March 9, 2012 I dont miss living in Oklahoma one bit. Lived in OKLA for 12 years. Never been very close to a tornado there. The one here in southern Indiana missed us by about 3 miles. Pictures (tv and paper) do not do it justice. We did not have damage, but know several people that did.
PBJ Posted March 9, 2012 #7 Posted March 9, 2012 To all of you down south in the more dangerous parts of tornado alley Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this season.
