Also never had two green bars on my led meter.

Could you please post the manufacturer and part number of the rectifier and approximate cost?

Any help would be much appreciated.

IF you find any info more then I have please let me know.

If you look at the picture of both, all I have seen for a number is 110522 stamped on it.

that would be the R/R on the right.

Hey Jeff,

Two questions.

I forgot which battery you have in the trike.

And as I know nothing about the 2nd gens where does the R/R mount on them? Does the upgrade mount in the same place or did you have to transplant?

ok....1, 2, ....er THREE questions.

Next time I'll tap my foot.

Mike,

#1

I have been using the Odyssey for about 5 years now and it seemed never to have to

starting power or the volts to handle my type of loads I put on it. however this is not fair to the Odyssey at this point as of my up-grade. This Summer I plan on putting one back in for my test , for now there is a brand new Deka in it's place. loving to out-put and power.

#2

The R/R on the 2nd GEN is up front under between the radiator and the oil filter

if you use a small 1/4 rachet and a 10mm socket. the job is about a 3 min change over.

I also added Dielectric in the plugs. it is PLUG AND PLAY.

#3

And thank you VERY much for heading me in the right direction to getting the most out of my new Stator.

I Really think that the new R/R as really helped bunches.

Thanks Jeff,

I wasn't sure on the location on the R/R. Just adding info for future reference. Ya never know what might end up in the garage some day.

I just saw your post on the DEKA question a minute ago so that answered that.

Glad I could offer some useful info to help ya along. Like I said I'm no expert on this electrical stuff but I know how well what I ended up with works. Lots of the other members got me to that point.

So on the 2nd gen is the voltage reg more apt to crap out and then take the stator with it? I dont really run anything extra, other than the passing lights and some LED marker lights. Do I need to watch out for this going bad?
