Of course my OCD is driving me nuts that I have a side marker out (even though I don't see it while driving). I want to pick up an extra crystal (this one is also scratched) before I try to extract the screw. I have nightmares of slipping & cracking the lens while using the screw extractor. So Does anyone know who made this light bar & what should I use for keywords on Ebay when looking for a spare. ( I assume they are no longer available). I think I may have found them...Anyone else bought these? http://www.aftermarketcyclepartsnation.com/Drag-Specialties-RECTANGULAR-TWIN-MARKER-LIGHTS-detail.htm?productId=7724779&catalogId=&searchProducts=2040-0299 Edited February 27, 2012 by cabreco
Snaggletooth Posted February 27, 2012 #2 Posted February 27, 2012 You're on the right track. There are still a few suppliers that carry these. They are usually listed under "Mini Barons Twin" for the small side lights it "Baron Twin" for the larger ones in the rear. Now if you're headed into the market for some chrome grills for the rear ones ....... let me know. Got a few sets of NOS ones on my rack.

EXCELLENT, I found them for $3 bucks each, unfortunately they have a $7 shipping fee but whatever.... I looked at the grills but opted against it. I actually like the contrast better without the grills. I'm also afraid that if I overload it with chrome, I'll look like "Superfly" driving down the road Thanks for the help!

BOO Posted March 14, 2012 #7 Posted March 14, 2012 I don't know if you ended up ordering from this company or not but I just ordered some lens and it turns out the lens gets shipped from the factory. Sounds like it may take 10 days or so. Not a problem for me but I thought I would just post additional information. barend Posted March 16, 2012 #10 Posted March 16, 2012 install a red LED, more light, less power and as red as you can get even with a faded lens. as far as the side marker lights, I installed some oval LED's with a chrome bezel. works and looks great. Probably got them at superbrightleds http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fspecs%2Fmoc.htm#photos

cabreco Posted August 3, 2013 Author #12 Posted August 3, 2013 OK as a followup to this old question...does anyone know what company made the running lights under the engine in the chrome air dam like the ones here. I need to find replacement light units as my frames cracked. http://images.canadianlisted.com/nlarge/3-4953495-1984-yamaha-venture-royal-1200cc-touring-nice-shape_7974178.jpg
Prairiehammer Posted August 3, 2013 #13 Posted August 3, 2013 (edited) Drag Specialties. Here is an original VentureLine Installation Instructions with part numbers. The part numbers don't seem to be Yamaha numbers. Perhaps they are Drag Specialties numbers? Edited August 3, 2013 by Prairiehammer

The frames on my lights have cracked from age & broken away.
Karaboo Posted August 3, 2013 #16 Posted August 3, 2013 For LED bulbs, you can pick them up at O'Reilly's. I replaced all 22 of my red ones and the 6 amber ones in my front markers.

cabreco Posted August 4, 2013 Author #18 Posted August 4, 2013 Well, finding the original light housing is friggin IMPOSSIBLE, so I decided to "Improvise"! I took a trip to Walmart & found $6. Blazer International LED Mini Clearance Lights. http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/02/88/45/02/0002884502586_180X180.jpg I put 2 in each of the openings. They are SUPER bright & they work GREAT!
