During my bike cleaning today i decided to try to clean the clutch sight glass. I used a screw driver to lightly scrape away the thick oxidation. Then the problem, fluid began to leak from the center of the glass. Can i repair this with sometype of glue or adhesive. I'd really hate to go through the sight glass replacement process.

There is a glue some guys have used to fix this, I can't remember the name of it right now, but you will have to remove the sight glass to do it properly. If you have Seal All in your stores, that will do the job, and quickly.

I did that on an old master cyl that was really coroded.I removed the clear glass (plastic) ,a us dime fit snug and I put jb weld inside and around. No signs of the brake fluid attacking the jb weld after 2 years

I have not tried this stuff on that but "Rapid-Fix" is some of the best stuff I ever used for bonding things together. The bond is almost instant and hard. I have used it to make a new wooden post on the side faring connection and stuck it to the plactic and have a very hard bond. It's about $22 at the auto parts store. It's a two part system with liquid "Like super glue on Steriods" and then a powder in another bottle when you but together it's hard and tough. I would sure give it a try.
