tire vendors

I know that good vendors change all the time. Where is the best online store for buying tires nowdays? It used to be Southwest Moto Tire in Arizona. Is there anyone better?

Best? Can't say. But they are a supporter here and I've had no problem with their service or their price.

I recently bought the new model Michelin Commander II rear.

Delivered prices ran $148 to close to $200.

I bought from Bike Bandit. They were right there with the lowest and seem to have very good customer service. (And I had a year old $15 coupon).

 

At that time (last month) I tried to use Jake Wilson but I don't think they had the new model yet.

I just looked thru the vendor section and did not find Jake Wilson listed as a VR Vendor.

Or am I missing something? Or should they be added?

Perhaps it is a matter of semantics. There is an advertising banner at the top of the page for Jake Wilson. I assumed that they were a "VR vendor".

The last 3 or 4 sets I've bought came from Jake Wilson. They shipped very fast and the tires seemed to have fresh date codes.

Just got a set from Motorcycle Superstore, tires had a date of 44th & 45th week of 2011, nice & fresh. Just gotta get them mounted.
