Any members live near Kona Hawaii ? The wife and I will be there May 17th for 9 days

for my Daughter's Wedding. was looking for maybe a place I might be able to rent a bike for a day or so.. already have a rental car lined up , but would love to ride around the island one day on a bike. there is a Harley Dealer there that rents them for about 125 a day.. but want to find a better rate if possible.

Thanks,

Jeff

Well I did find out it is about $180 per day that would be for a Cruiser Type bike

like ours. BUT >>>>>> There is a $2,000.00 DEPOSIT !!! *YICKS* :shock3:

Maybe I can rent a MOPED !! :big-grin-emoticon: then I could say I road a bike in Hawaii :happy65:

Wife and I were on Maui back in 96, found a Harley rental shop, got a 95 Heritage Softail for 24 hrs, $160 cost. We rode that bike on the ONLY twisties on Maui, the road to Hana which took 2 hours for 30 miles of travel. Along the coastline with forest reserves on the right and waterfront on the left......

Best ride I've EVER taken!

Yes, Road to Hana would be a great ride on a M/C!
