Question about 83 royale cb.

Does anyone own one with a cb? Do the original CBS allow you to talk, or only listen? I'm thinking about swapping the one from my old bike to my new bike. To do this I'll have to swap wiring harnesses too. So I guess another question of mine is, is it worth it???

If you don't already have the base audio system. Spend your money and time putting in a JMCB2003. Why tie your music/communications to something 25 years old (plus or minus). I added one to my wife's Harley and it works fantastic.
