Carbon_One Posted February 6, 2012 Share #27 Posted February 6, 2012 I didn't think there even was a 1901 Dodge Ram, Wouldn't that qualify for antique plates or something. Missprint should of said 2001

saddlebum Posted February 6, 2012 Share #29 Posted February 6, 2012 Bikes in Ontario are $48 per year and cars are $76. Trailers are a one time lifetime registration (cost me $25 for the plate). (numbers from memory so should be ballpark) Every two years we have to get an emission test done on cars over a certain age... at $36. This should be considered as part of the registration cost. We Also renew on or before our birthday
Zfrebird4 Posted February 6, 2012 Share #30 Posted February 6, 2012 in Ft Collins, CO: $48.50. all vehicles are on the up here in FC and probably CO; budget deficits, you know. Still worth every penny ... when I'm riding! Jack T:cool10:
spear Posted February 6, 2012 Share #31 Posted February 6, 2012 (edited) Don't ANY of you guys ever Ever EVER complain about your registration costs. I have three vehicles. Let me run you through what it is costing me each year - all up. . 2001 Subaru Outback Registration $437. Comprehensive insurance $552. Compulsory Third Party Insurance $330 2006 Proton Jumbuck Registration $236. Comprehensive insurance $446. Compulsory Third Party Insurance $248 2004 Venture Registration $111. Comprehensive insurance $440. Compulsory Third Party Insurance $231 _____________________________________________________________ TOTALS PER ANNUM $784 $1438 $709 GRAND TOTAL $2931 Considering the fact I can only use one at a time, they are costing me $2.68 a day to keep - each. The Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance is to cover injuries or death of anybody other than the driver in a crash. It's an offence NOT to have it. Mind you, in my state the fines for being unregistered and having no CTP are massively more than the cost of registration and CTP. You can't register a vehicle or renew the registration unless you have CTP insurance. (More commonly known as revenue-raising by our incompetent State politicians!) rickardracing Posted February 6, 2012 Share #37 Posted February 6, 2012 Of course our registrations maybe going up. Legislators want to raise the cost of plates to pay for our crappy roads.
Eddie Posted February 6, 2012 Share #38 Posted February 6, 2012 Of course our registrations maybe going up. Legislators want to raise the cost of plates to pay for our crappy roads. I heard that too. Our roads still suck, and our gas prices are high.
