In Ohio, vehicle registration renewals are the same as your birthday. Mine will be coming up the first of March so I just went online and renewed them all. I think that registrations in Ohio are fairly reasonable compared to some states. I'm just curious what it costs all of you.

I just renewed registrations for:

2011 Kia Sorento

2004 Chrysler Crossfire

1999 Royal Star Venture

2000 Royal Star Venture

20somthing Bushtec Trailer

Total cost was $160.35

That included my option to add $1.00 to each one as a voluntary contribution to the Ohio vision program.

How does this compare to what you pay in other states? The motorcycles were actually 28.87 each, the trailer was 20.87.

In Wisconsin, vehicle registration is $84 due on the day you first registered them each year. That is for my car and my pickup, each. Motorcycles are $24 for two years, due in April. No license fees for small trailers. So, my total for the year for two vehicles and two motorcycles would be $192.00

Not sure what ours will be since we just moved, however last year the bike was $20, the car was $40, if the car were newer we'd be paying upwards of $300 but since our car is coming towards antique status (in 2016 it will be classed an antique) it's getting cheaper to tag (in this county). In Georgia each county decides the tax values on vehicles. Usually the counties with other stable revenue streams keep the tag fees low.

Oh, Trailers.

In Michigan trailers are very high, but the registration never expires. And I'm sure nobody EVER moves their plates to a new trailer.

My Cyclemate costs $56 a year...I have a utility trailer that costs me $5/yr...it is registered as a farm trailer...should have registered my Cyclemate as farm also!

Bikes in Ontario are $48 per year and cars are $76. Trailers are a one time lifetime registration (cost me $25 for the plate). (numbers from memory so should be ballpark)

Every two years we have to get an emission test done on cars over a certain age... at $36. This should be considered as part of the registration cost.

Renewed registration on my 06 Venture on Friday. I had the option paying 2 years on the form received in the mail at only $101.50 for two years for my plates. My car and truck is higher because of weight (I guess). Oh, it is what it is.

Louisiana, I renew my tags on these two every two years.

08 Ford Edge $56

98 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 $40.

My ST1300 I just bought doesn't expire till 2015.

When I lived SC seems like we had to pay property taxes on everything and was alot more expensive. Will never go back there!

Texas is around 55 a vehicle. Pickups a little more.

IN CA its a percentage of the value of the vehicle. 500 a year would not be unusual there for a pickup.

Tennessee is due yearly on end of month purchased.

My Maxima and El Camino are about $28 each. Bike I believe is about $14 and trailer under 16 feet does not require tags.

I like it in Tennessee and we also do not a state income tax.

I didn't think there even was a 1901 Dodge Ram, Wouldn't that qualify for antique plates or something.:whistling::confused24::stickpoke:
