The average price I found for the camera with the normal Canon 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is $580. (amazon) USA Warranty...Free Shipping. I ran across certifieddigital.com that listed the camera for $449.99(as above). certifieddigital.com is a waste of time....total BS! Placed order via website....got an e-mail requesting I call. If it looks too good to be true.. it ain't. Some discount operations are honest, but there's enough of the dishonest ones out there to create a stink... I don't like the Kit lens so I would reccomend buying the body only and getting a lens that suits your needs. Totally agree Condor..but then the ole...nothin gambled...nothin gained ...sometimes takes over. Ya know ...kids will be kids! and the $130 made me game! I have bought from B&H many times over the last 20 years and like their service and prices also. The reason I wanted the camera with the lens was for my daughter's use....she likes everything AUTO. I guess we are a Nikon family now. My wife has a 3500 and my son has.....not sure...higher end than the 3500. I THINK it's a 9000 or 9..something. I researched these cameras to no end and looking for the absolute lowest price driving the bride nuts in the mean time. Well with all the research I "NEVER" looked into the company selling the camera, if I had there was a bunch of warnings. these low life's even used my card in Germany. All the charges got back up and what a great eye opening lesson I got for free. My old man would say "A good lesson either hurts or cost allot, sometimes both" do a search on companies before you give them a card number . Best of luck stick with B&H. If you get the "Nikon" before March 6th and want to rent it..bring it over to Cabin Fever Pickin Party in Chesapeake (your back yard) so I can save my dollars. I have the adapter and a few Canon lenses that I used on the older A-1 and F-1 film cameras....the Kodachrome 25 days!
