Marcarl Posted February 2, 2012 #1 Posted February 2, 2012 Some of you knew our oldest daughter, Dorothea, 41, one husband and 5 kids, was diagnosed with kidney cancer a short while ago. I forgot to ask for prayer at that time, but today she went through a successful operation to have one kidney removed and our prayers have been answered. So far all is well and she seems to be well, our requests have been answered once again. Sure good to know we are in the Fathers hands!!

Ky. Rider Posted February 6, 2012 #23 Posted February 6, 2012 My wife had a kidney removed 6 years ago because of cancer and has done fine since. Has a clean bill of health and can't tell the difference in having one kidney and two. Best to your daughter and God's speed.
99silver Posted February 6, 2012 #24 Posted February 6, 2012 Prayers sent, thank God for the good news...
Marcarl Posted February 6, 2012 Author #25 Posted February 6, 2012 Went to see Dorothea last evening, Sunday, she was in good spirits, still on pain killers, but looking good. She thought by now she would want to be going home, but I think her body is liking the holiday so she content to stay put for another day or two. Don't know how that sits with her husband, 5 kids, dog, cat and the reconstruction of their basement. Sure is good to have you folks around and amazing on the prayer chain created. People we have never met are praying for her,,, wow,,, and our Father is ever-present.
