GolfVenture Posted February 1, 2012 #1 Posted February 1, 2012 I found this white electricial plug underneath the trunk of my 91 VR as I removed the trunk so I can install a trunk guard. It has two female plugs Anyone know what it is for?
mbrood Posted February 1, 2012 #2 Posted February 1, 2012 The Molex style looks custom... very similar to the trunk light power that I ran... Wrap a bare wire around a bulb base... then tape another to the bottom pin... shove them in and start checking for running light or brake...
Squidley Posted February 2, 2012 #3 Posted February 2, 2012 It's not stock, it appears to be something that was added on as mbrood mentioned. Pull the seat off and trace it up, perhaps it was to a battery tender or some heated gear for the passenger Have you checked it with a continuity tester or volt gauge yet?
BradT Posted February 2, 2012 #4 Posted February 2, 2012 Have you checked it with a continuity tester or volt gauge yet? I am not that tecnical and would just use a multimeter Brad
