Looking for cheap carb rebuild kits

I have an 83 1200 and i need the complete carb rebuild kit. I'm looking for a cheap one, and hopefully someone can help. Any info would be much appreciated

If I remember correctly, there isn't a "kit" available, you have to purchase the parts separately.

 

Clean it well. You might not need any internal parts. Remove the diaphrams and check them for rips or pinholes. Pinholes can be fixed but tears should be replaced. There was a special price worked out for replacements. A little searching will find them on the site. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32943

 

 

While you have it apart, you might want to adjust the needles. This can improve the fuel mileage. Again, if you needles don't have adjusters, you can change it changing the washers. I've heard that the 1200 Vmax carb rebuild kits will also work.
