I also am going to add the slim Baffels

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-dZOVYAsoIP6/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=237XT42

to them as well. It should help the Front speakers

a whole Lot! I am doing this today or tomorrow.

The fronts lose's way to much from the sound falling

into the fairing.

I also am still gunna add the baffles to the rear as well.

NOTE: if installing baffles make sure you cut a dime size hole into the bottom

of the baffle for the air suction.

Good Luck.

Are they Marine?

Cause I'm looking to Up Grade mine. (Same Bike)

I can't deal with this 14 watt speakers anymore........

They are waterproof, but stay away from them they are crap.... Go with Pioneer or Polk, I had Pioneer TS-G1040R in my 03 and they sounded good but I would have to say they didn't sound any better then the stock. If you want better sound install an equalizer.

I would have to agree, I have installed the Pioneers in a couple of bikes and they are only slightly better than the stock speakers. I also bought one of the small Amp and it is totally junk, I wouldn't call it an Amp, might qualify as a resister or impedance.

I believe the people using the Equalizers are having better luck with those then what I did.

Be interested to hear what you end up with and how you like it.

Jerry because my bike is new (07) I'm not sure if I will install an eqalizer or not, some dealers would have a problem with the warranty. For the time being I'm going to stick with the stock until I run into another member who has upgraded and I can hear for myself.

I think it would help a bit. but if I had stock speakers and was going to go to the trouble of putting the baffles in I would change out the crappy

speakers myself. they are terrible.

my 2 Cents! :)

Also, make sure you got the SLIM BAFFLES!

Heck you might have the baffles on before me..

My past week I have been kinda sick and

I have not had a chance to go out into the garage

yet. It also has been below ZERO the past couple days!

Yuck!
