CaptainJoe Posted January 30, 2012 Share #4 Posted January 30, 2012 Brake Pad "Poor Vis, and most of our Florida drivers, Drive like F****** idiots !!!!!!! " Agreed... I've traveled coast to coast and can tell you it's out of control especially on the Florida turnpike around Miami... You'd think with all the state budget woes, the police would be making money off of these idiots "hand over fist"... SOCK IT TO THEM! The beltway around Washington DC use to be my "worst" road to travel...
Condor Posted January 30, 2012 Share #5 Posted January 30, 2012 We get that type of fog in the San Juaquin Valley. We call it Tule (two-lee) Fog. You can be traveling along at night with star light unlimited visibility, and run into these 'rivers' of ground fog. Drivers with their head stuck in a very dark place don't know enuff to slow down, and will start a chain reaction. We've had 100+ car pile ups on I-5 and hwy99 over the years. A while back the CHP started running their cruisers as pace cars thru the stuff. It seems to be working as I haven't heard of any big pile-ups in the last few years....
