I am loving this warmest winter we have had for years, ESPECIALLY after last winters record cold AND snow..... They can keep all that cold weather up there, I hate it when those American cold fronts move into our airspace....:snow2: , BUT, we Canadians will happily send it farther south to share with our southern friends if it does show up here. :smile5:

Spent 32 years up there with five plus in the Interior/Fairbanks area and 6 years north of the arctic circle.

More than once I woke up to -50F temps and colder.

Coldest wind chill was -115F at Camp Lonely and coldest non-windchill was -65F in Coldfoot.

 

And that is why I am the AKRefugee. My bones are to damn old for that kind of cold.

Turned cold here overnight as well. :rotf:

Got down to 16degC.

THAT'S 61 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT.

Days have been beautiful though, nestling in the mid 20s (80+degF.)
