My RSTD started groaning from the rear end. I replaced the tires back in November and thought I put enough grease on all the rear end components. Very surprised that it is groaning all things considered. Anyway I have a YSS shock coming so I think I will go ahead and replace it by removing the rear wheel route.

Did you pull the pins out of the wheel and grease them too?

Yeah I took it all apart, cleaned everything and thought I had put enough grease on everything.

Did you align the axcel? There's a procedure here somewhere for doing it.

I did align the axel, but wonder now if maybe I did it wrong. I'll have to look for the procedure.

I had the same problem because I didn't loosen the acorn nuts on the drive when I put the wheel back on. Went on here and found the instructions and it was fine after that.
