Hummingbird Posted January 12, 2012 #1 Posted January 12, 2012 Good News After getting approval from the boss (Freebird) I called Jaybird ( the pin-striper) and he's got this year's MD on his schedule. He said he would come up and be ready to 'paint' on Friday and Saturday. He will again set up his canopy by the willow tree so bring your ideas and be ready to see some GREAT work done while you watch.
Freebird Posted January 12, 2012 #2 Posted January 12, 2012 Thanks for following up with him. He is always a welcome addition to Maintenance Day.
Carbon_One Posted January 13, 2012 #3 Posted January 13, 2012 Jaybird does some great work at very reasonable prices. Larry
Patrolman46 Posted January 13, 2012 #4 Posted January 13, 2012 Jaybird does some great work at very reasonable prices. Larry Phoneman1981 & I are planning on riding up to Freebird's MD. Hope we can both get away. I would like to bring my 06 RSMTD & get some pin striping done on it. It is my bad boy daily ride to work bike & I would like to personalize it little bit. How do I get in line to be considered for this fine service? I don't really have any ideas what I want, but would like to talk with Jaybird & maybe he can guide me. Thanks for listening!

Freebird Posted January 13, 2012 #6 Posted January 13, 2012 No appointments are necessary and I don't think taken. You just need to show up and get in line. I think he usually gets to them all.
BIG TOM Posted January 13, 2012 #7 Posted January 13, 2012 Jaybird will also be at the International rally in N.Y. this year..He did my scoot 2 years ago...I highly recommend hiM..Great job and at a fair price...Go for it!!!!!

He mentioned to me it is first come first served. I do think he trys to get there early Friday. If anyone knows for sure ,what time maybe they can post it so that people can plan it. Brad
dingy Posted January 13, 2012 #9 Posted January 13, 2012 Last year he set up Thursday night. Didn't do any painting, just brought some stuff & set it up. Gary
Hummingbird Posted January 13, 2012 Author #10 Posted January 13, 2012 Jaybird told me he would most likely get there Thursday and set up his canopy and be ready to start Friday morning ( after he does my Silverado ) btw - he's great with getting the colors just right to compliment or jump out on your bike, whichever way you want it.
