Sleeperhawk Posted January 11, 2012 Author #3 Posted January 11, 2012 We have that one... http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66223 LOL Sorry about that, initial search for Dyson did not show any threads but after you posted went to google, sure enough shows the post here. Guess I will use Google from now on when searching here.
BradT Posted January 12, 2012 #4 Posted January 12, 2012 . Guess I will use Google from now on when searching here. Was still funny. And Google works better than the search function on this site. Brad
Freebird Posted January 12, 2012 #5 Posted January 12, 2012 I'm sorry folks but I just don't know how to better get the word out. I've posted it many times that the search works great if you click on "search" then use the google option and select http://www.venturerider.org It works very well and you don't have to leave here and actually go to Google.
BradT Posted January 12, 2012 #6 Posted January 12, 2012 I. I've posted it many times . Never saw your post. Seriously, I never knew that was there. Also Why is the two search buttons different ? When you select "Search" from the Bottom Menu bar you get one line, then hit advanced search there is no google search". I beleive this is the way the old search command was and I found it very cumbersome so I never used it. Always wondered how people found anything with Search and Goose always suggested it but never worked for me. Why don't you only give the option of a Google search in VR ? Brad
Freebird Posted January 12, 2012 #7 Posted January 12, 2012 The google search is a custom feature that I added. The rest is the regular search that is programmed into VBulletin. Now that you know about it, just USE it.
BradT Posted January 12, 2012 #8 Posted January 12, 2012 The google search is a custom feature that I added. The rest is the regular search that is programmed into VBulletin. Now that you know about it, just USE it. Search in the lower menu bar don't work at all gives an error message, then I get to send a nasty email to the Webmaster. Yes I can use it now that I know about it, but don't understand why you never mentioned it before Brad
