Freebird Posted January 10, 2012 #1 Posted January 10, 2012 Your plight has not gone unnoticed. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/01/09/finally-can-throw-your-phone-in-toilet/?test=faces
Mel Posted January 10, 2012 #2 Posted January 10, 2012 Yeah, but according to that article, Eck better stay away from Jiffylube.
etcswjoe Posted January 10, 2012 #3 Posted January 10, 2012 Eck is a smart man he will figure a way around it.
CaptainJoe Posted January 10, 2012 #4 Posted January 10, 2012 ""The RAZR dies in about 10 seconds,” he said. “Our phone we continue to film for about an hour." And how long is a washing machine cycle???
Flyinfool Posted January 10, 2012 #5 Posted January 10, 2012 I would also assume that a washing machine cycle may have just slightly more agitation and chemicals than a glass of clean water. The technology for water proofing electronics is cheap, easy and has been around for more than 40 years. I think the phone manufacturers are just giddy that there have been over 85 million phones destroyed by being dropped in the drink. Why would they want to end the gravy train?
MiCarl Posted January 10, 2012 #6 Posted January 10, 2012 Eck is a smart man he will figure a way around it. The coatings probably won't help much if he flushes:rotf:.
Yammer Dan Posted January 10, 2012 #7 Posted January 10, 2012 I have faith in Eck. :whistling:He will find another way to destroy it!!
