Condor Posted February 3, 2013 #26 Posted February 3, 2013 Hello Everyone: This is an old post but I had more info to add. I eventually purchased new E3's from Performance Cycles while I was in Denver at the beginning of last season. So I actually got the Dunlop 404's for a fair price of $300. I regret my error. Getting older and can't remember S**t. Wanted to set the record straight. I know whacha mean about remembering things. BTW you went from E3's to 404's in the blink of an eye.... Hang in there. I think I'm going to start taking Ginka Loba.....

Phoneman1981 Posted February 3, 2013 Author #28 Posted February 3, 2013 Sorry about that Jack. LOL. Actually the dealer installed 404's on my bike. Those were the tires that I thought cost me $600. They only lasted one season. I replaced them with E3's at the beginning of last season.
kkent66 Posted February 12, 2013 #29 Posted February 12, 2013 I have a 2006 RSV with 50K. When i first had the bike I put Metzler ME 880's on and did not have good luck with them at all. We ride 2 up all the time and did not want to worry about my tires every 6k miles. After much reading on this forum I went with Dunlop E3's. I put my last set on two years ago and have gone from Ohio to California and back two years ago and then Ohio to Maine, Canada and back last summer. I curretnly have 11,000 miles on the tires and will change out mid summer. They are great tires.
djh3 Posted February 12, 2013 #30 Posted February 12, 2013 Mine came with dunlap E-3. When I changed tires last summer I went with the Michelin Commander II's. I like the tread pattern better as the grooves go past center and I am concerned with water dispersal in rain. The E-3 grooves dont do that. Normally I was getting tires for my Kawasaki 900 from Motorcycle Superstore as they had best deal on the tires I was buying. Jake wilson had the best prices last go around. Most of the online retailers will price match. I had very good luck on the 900 with Pirelli MT66.
