Taking it EZ Posted January 7, 2012 #1 Posted January 7, 2012 Anyone ever used this product ? If so, how is it?
CaptainJoe Posted January 7, 2012 #2 Posted January 7, 2012 Haven't used that particular one. the thing about gel seats though, is if the gel is close to the vinyl top, it's gonna get extreemely hot in the sun... you will have to cover it up with something... If not ya better test it with your hand before you saddle up...
Midnight Posted January 7, 2012 #3 Posted January 7, 2012 We have been using a Gel type seat cushion from Canadian Tire as we are from Canada. I know Walmart carries them in the US as well. They are around $20 a piece and work great. We have yet to wear a set out. Link attached. Good luck. Taking it EZ Posted January 8, 2012 Author #5 Posted January 8, 2012 Thanks for the info. Local Wally World doesn't carry them. Looked them up online, seems kinda small for me. Going to go with the Kuryakyn. Parts start going numb around the 200 mile mark
67mini67 Posted January 8, 2012 #6 Posted January 8, 2012 I have the wally world one and use is all the time. I can ride 10 to 12 hours a day on a non-pillow top seat and can still walk at the end of the day. The size of the pad completely covers the seat and hangs over near the front edges. I have ridden over 12k miles with is and no signs of significant wear.
