Carbon_One Posted December 28, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 28, 2011 Ok folks last week my pc crashed and I had to replace it with a new tower. I had a Outlook 2003 program on it for my e-mails. Due to replacing the pc tower I had to upgrade to Outlook 2010. (no cd disc for the Outlook 2003 program). So now I'm starting back to 0 on my contact list. If you want me to have your e-mail ady then send me a short note with your address and I'll put ya in my address book. Here's my address -- lskeels@wowway.com Same one that's in my profile info here at VR. Thanks, Larry
albyzee Posted December 28, 2011 Share #2 Posted December 28, 2011 If the old Hard Drive is readable you could make it the second drive in the new pc and do an export of your addresses. You could also get any other data you might deem important.
GaryZ Posted December 28, 2011 Share #3 Posted December 28, 2011 What he said . . . I have also connected an old hard drive to the new computer with a kit that plugs in to a USB port.
Carbon_One Posted December 28, 2011 Author Share #4 Posted December 28, 2011 Thanks everyone. Both those who contacted me and responder here at VR. I did find my list of contacts buried in the new pc when I had my old pc's files copied. Just had to find that list and do a transfer to the new Outlook 2010 program.
