chabicheka Posted December 28, 2011 #26 Posted December 28, 2011 Started raining this morning here in Toronto, and changed to snowing since afternoon around 2 pm. Looks like there will be quite a bit shoveling to be done tomorrow morning. Oh well....managed to get my last ride of the year yesterday, with temperature around 4 celcius. Can not complain...had a very good year, riding wise. 3 more months and will be riding bike again! YEEEEHAAA!
BIG TOM Posted December 28, 2011 Author #27 Posted December 28, 2011 They are calling for 4 to 6 inches overnight on top of a bed of freezing rain.....winds to 30 mph with blowing s**w and poor visability....I'm on vacation but Taters isn't...."I HATE SNOW"
Aussie Annie Posted December 28, 2011 #28 Posted December 28, 2011 OVER HERE... WE"LL TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! Make that two :scorched:
Marcarl Posted December 28, 2011 #30 Posted December 28, 2011 Gonna be around 106F here today!! Are you nuts????,,,,, it'll all melt at that temperature,,, that would be a waste,,,,, eh?Tom?
Guest Posted December 28, 2011 #31 Posted December 28, 2011 Nope, I wont say it...... You cant make me.... No way......... Hmmm, I forgot..... What is snow anyway??????
Yammer Dan Posted December 28, 2011 #32 Posted December 28, 2011 Its snowing and freezing. And I gotta go out. I thought with this retirement thing you weren't required to drive in that crap!!!
wes0778 Posted December 28, 2011 #33 Posted December 28, 2011 What is snow anyway?????? :sign yeah that: Forecast here says sunny and in the 70s by Saturday...
leo3wheel Posted December 28, 2011 #34 Posted December 28, 2011 That was quick storm. Didn't go out yesterday, so was hardly aware that it was raining. Sunny with blue sky and 42* this morning. Mild winter so far..........
Rickster Posted December 28, 2011 #35 Posted December 28, 2011 Yes it's snowing again, BIG TOM can play with his snow blower........... We all know how he likes to do that.............
KIC Posted December 28, 2011 #36 Posted December 28, 2011 Yes it's snowing again, BIG TOM can play with his snow blower........... We all know how he likes to do that............. Now you did it...you had to go and open that can of worms... He just found out that his snow blower is a 2nd Generation model and can only handle 1/4 inch or less.....
steamer Posted December 28, 2011 #37 Posted December 28, 2011 Now you did it...you had to go and open that can of worms... He just found out that his snow blower is a 2nd Generation model and can only handle 1/4 inch or less..... Hey Big Tom, it didn't take the new guy long to become an obnoxious ( like that big word) first genner. I hope he knows what he got himself into. KIC"S I hope you are going to make the international. We have a special type of duck tape your going to need for your 1st gen. PS. you fit right in:stickpoke:

steamer Posted December 28, 2011 #39 Posted December 28, 2011 No problem catching you. Thats what the ductape is for.
BIG TOM Posted December 28, 2011 Author #40 Posted December 28, 2011 No problem catching you. Thats what the ductape is for. And he can use it to hold all those plastic pieces together on the scoot as well..........and to strap down spare parts to his bike that he will need to keep it running.......
steamer Posted December 28, 2011 #41 Posted December 28, 2011 I was thinking, if he's coming to the Int. rally he should buy a trailer to pull behind his car so he can bring his 1st genny.
BIG TOM Posted December 28, 2011 Author #42 Posted December 28, 2011 I was thinking, if he's coming to the Int. rally he should buy a trailer to pull behind his car so he can bring his 1st genny. Thats the only way he'd get that antique here...THERE ISN'T ENOUGH DUCT TAPE MADE FOR HIM TO CARRY ALL THOSE SPARE PARTS HE'D NEED FOR THE RIDE HERE...(ps Steamer...we need to get this newbie in line fast before he believes all this first gen faster and better stuff). And someone should tell him that the new guy buys ice cream for everyone..................
KIC Posted December 28, 2011 #43 Posted December 28, 2011 I was thinking, if he's coming to the Int. rally he should buy a trailer to pull behind his car so he can bring his 1st genny. I know this was an accidental misquote. You meant to type " He should buy a trailer to pull his car behind his 1st Genny". Bringing a car would be a good idea so the 2nd Genners can use it to go buy parts for theirs.
steamer Posted December 28, 2011 #44 Posted December 28, 2011 Don't need to go anywhere for parts, as the 2nd gen hardly ever breaks down. On the outside chance we do need parts, no problem, the rally is in the back yard of Pioneer Motorsports. To bad they don't make parts for the 1st gen anymore. Guess that trailer will come in handy.
Yammer Dan Posted December 28, 2011 #46 Posted December 28, 2011 Sounds interesting and tempting. At least I know it's not like any 2nd Genners are going to be able to catch me... They do get noisey don't they!! Sorry Kic I was gone all day. You are right first they got to catch ya!! How many 2nd Gens have caught "Brown Sugar" or "UGLY"???
steamer Posted December 28, 2011 #47 Posted December 28, 2011 Gonna be a tough week for riding.... NOT ! hope that plastic doesn't melt.
BIG TOM Posted December 29, 2011 Author #48 Posted December 29, 2011 They do get noisey don't they!! Sorry Kic I was gone all day. You are right first they got to catch ya!! How many 2nd Gens have caught "Brown Sugar" or "UGLY"??? Don't know?....when was the last time they were out of the GARAGE..OOOOPS......my bad.............
KIC Posted December 29, 2011 #49 Posted December 29, 2011 hope that plastic doesn't melt. Don't worry....We all know how fast the 1st Gens are, but we rarely have to worry about "re-entry" heat..
Yammer Dan Posted December 29, 2011 #50 Posted December 29, 2011 don't know?....when was the last time they were out of the garage..oooops......my bad............. what garage???
