Bobby G Posted December 26, 2011 #1 Posted December 26, 2011 I'm thinking of ordering this leather bag trio for the RSV. Anyone with a windshield bag have any suggestions on this and whether it will work? http://carolinaleatherworks.stores.yahoo.net/winbag721.html
DKleven Posted December 26, 2011 #2 Posted December 26, 2011 I ordered one from Dennis Kirk and it works well, some are not long enough to fit between the dash and windshield, let me know if you need more info, I could send you a picture and some more info
gunkylump Posted December 26, 2011 #3 Posted December 26, 2011 Looks like the same one I had on my 04. Works well, but it does cover up the speedo to some extent...I relied on my gps after installing the bag.......had no choice in the 40 kilometer to 140 kilometer or so range. I did not fasten it to the windshield...I just pinched it between the windshield and the fiberglass frame of the bike. Worked well, I kept earplugs in one bag, sunglasses or sunblock in the middle, and my garage door opener and other "stuff" in the 3rd. But that was just me...... gunk:shock3:

Thanks!
mm482 Posted December 27, 2011 #5 Posted December 27, 2011 I have the one from Carolina Leather. Its well made, but I had to drill three holes in the windsheld to mount it. I will try to get pics posted to night. Earl
Condor Posted December 27, 2011 #7 Posted December 27, 2011 Just this morning I did an Ebay search for Hopnel. There were quite a few window pouches listed.... I don't think I'd be too enthused about drilling holes in the windshield....
Bobby G Posted December 28, 2011 Author #8 Posted December 28, 2011 I hope the pics up load. Earl Thanks for the pics, but drilling isn't an option, so I'll keep looking.
